Meet the people & philosophy behind The People Place LA!

Hello! We wanted to introduce you to who we are, and what the People Place philosophy is, which is basically that we don't have one specific dogmatic philosophy that we subscribe to! But if you could sum it up with one term, it would be “Conscientious Parenting”.

At the core of what we talk about in our classes and what we come back to again and and again is just to really think about how you were raised and what are the things you'd like to move forward with.For example, for me, I loved how my family always had dinner together every single night.

And also ask yourself “what are the things I don't wanna continue on with my new family?” So the idea is to be thoughtful, to examine, and to be intentional about the decisions you make as a parent. You have this amazing opportunity with your new own family, and you can cultivate this family experience to be whatever you want it to be. And you get to be the parent that you wanna be.
